hello

i have purchased a FSU slalom deck with some 78a 69mm urban skater wheels and some LOC trucks, and some 3mm risers came with it.
i dont know the specifics on the trucks
anyway, i was woundering what to do with wedge's?
i havent bought any yet, as i am a novice and i have never used them before
i want to use the board for some light slalom and cruising around town

can anyone help me?

hard or soft will do, you will barely notice the difference

also with soft and hard wedges,
soft for hybrid slalom? or hard?
i got that the soft improves ride smoothness, but hard improves responsiveness?
which ones are for me? as i am keen to get a bit more into some slalom
i am an amature though
sorry guy's i am new at this,
I am altering my luge for Newtons and reading all the forums for hint on the best setup. I realise you are talking slalom but does the theroy extend to luge as well or is it a bit of overkill. will different combinations of wedges and bushing help stability but detract from cornering and vice versa

Cheers flub

Double wedge at the front, double de-wedge at the back is the stock setup for tight or hybrid slalom. From memory with Khiro wedges this adds 15 degrees to the front for more turn and flattens by 15 degrees at the back for more stability.

Absolutely Graeme

also, if i have my homemade "shlongboard" here, if i dewedge my trucks so that they are almost parallel to the ground will that give the board more rigidity?
because i'm thinking of doing that to the board for added practicality for around town
cheers
anyone?
dont think so, the shorter the wheelbase the stiffer the board in your case

anyone?
Alos can you wedge the front and have no wedge or riser on the back. If you wedge the front do you need to put at least a flat riser on the back?
Better to put a flat riser to keep the axles the same height
