Bearing spacers, speed rings, tighten the wheels ALL the way down.
if i had rusted as bearings wud that make the chatter?
agreed that they are chattery, purple durians chatter for me as well, to the point that my feet slip from the board from the amount the board bounces
I have run my wheels done up tight and it makes no difference, got rid of the durians in the end, problem solved :)

durians are chattery wheels, try tightening them.
Fuck, talk about bad advice. I'm sorry guys, but honestly. I recently got Early Blueys, they chattered so much when I got them, I couldnt stay on the board at like slow ass speeds. What did I do, I kept sliding them at slow speeds til they stopped chattering, now they work amazing. I got them last week btw.
Wheels tend to chatter when not broken in, even if they are grippy as fuck, they will eventually start to slide well.
Note: They may not slide amazing when broken in, they may feel like shit, but u will be able to control them better.
no probs dude, the chattering could have even be down to my lack of skill, I don't have the problem on 80a inheats
purple 4prez are the same duro as the purple durians, differences are the 4prez is square lipped, smaller diameter and larger width I think, I thin the 4pres have a more flexible outer edge than the durians
all thane chatter the end. skate more and the wheels will chatter less.
I have bigzigs that I have been skating for a while everyone says they are a chattery wheel but I freeride them no chatter as they are now about 64mm on the outside less then 60mm on the inside.
if you want less chattery wheels try zombies I almost never got chatter with those. and I have seen hugh johnson race on them and hold tight lines through corners.
no wheels come broken in unless they are second hand, even stims arn't broken in when you buy them brand new
are they nearly brand new? if so break them in by going fast and sliding, the faster you go the quicker it is to break in, when i got my square lip 78a s9s they were brand new and i had to ride monkey to on my heelsides thats how grippy and chattery they were so just do that and in the mean time use spacers and tighten your wheels so you cant move them from side to side
Lots of you are very funny to read
Dude, any wheel will slide, just go faster and get it sideways, once that nice smooth layer is gone any wheel has nice rough layers underneath ready to be shredded. I won a set of Early Stickies 78a after a few slides, nice and smooth, just break them in correctly, have your nuts nice and tight but not to tight that the wheel won't spin and go skate!
Ps speed rings are the most useless things. But they make you go faster ;)
Fine watever. I've just never had wheels that don't stop chattering over time, and my friends havnt either. i could be wrong, but arent 4pres's the exact same but smaller? My friend has them and they slide amazign now. They are also 83a.
Apoligize for my rudeness, been workign allday and tired as fuck.
