Helmets save lives. (to all of the crew who still refuse to wear one)
One of my closest friends has just passed away because he was skating without a helmet. JUST WEAR ONE.
One minute he was leaving on a 4 month trip to NZ and cali, the next he is having emergency surgery, and then the next he is dead.
If you think your invincible, your not, and neither are your friends. Please just wear your lid so your friends and family don't have to pick up the pieces WHEN, NOT IF you fall and hit your head.

i don't get why freeboarders think its ok to not wear helmets. i guess they don't have the peer pressure we have within our community.

Condolences Ian on losing a friend. Hopefully your post will cause some of those who don't won't wear a helmet, to have the guts to be different from their peers and then commonsense, to put one on.

such a shame to see half of the time him wearing a helmet and the other half him not. if only he had been wearing one all the time then this tragedy would have been prevented.
