Guinea Pigs Required

I've finally come up with a method that bonds UHMW to Velcro using homestyle DIY technology.
If someone would like to test and do their best to thrash these palm pucks they are welcome to have them for free.
Someone who regularly slides and drifts with some ability preferred?

You're gonna need gloves with velcro loops as these pucks have the velcro hook on them.
Pucks are approx 2.5" x 3" x 1" thick and will outlast religion!

2 Pairs of pucks available.

Pickup from Moth is easiest. Cya next weekend.

Stay tuned guys.
Now I have the method down I'm looking into doing a batch of Dia 80mm round x 20mm thick pucks with velcro hooks to suit your Loaded gloves.
Maybe even custom shapes within 100mm sq area.
Expect much the same price as loaded pucks however these will last alot longer being thicker and more durable grade plastic.

Couldn't make it to moth. Very disappointed considering I was registered for both events.
Anyways, Cooper if you can get over to the Hop shop sometime this week I can leave your pucks with Robbo tomoz night.
Jack, I'll figure out a way to get them to you somehow.

umm yeah i will be going to hopshop tomoz after skool but ill be there sometime after that im sure.. thanks heaps man..

Fitz how did the trials go, i was wondering cause i want to do some different DIY courses at the hop shop, ive got a heap of chopping boards different colours for the kids and shit and want them to make their own rad custom pucks, would you like to come in and help with a class and show some groms that are keen to make them.

Pucks were indestructible! Velcro didn't have a chance of ever coming off.

I gave a mega box of pucks to robbo ages ago back at the old HopShop. Its best to use slippery dips as its the best UHMW available and its pre-cut ready to go.

Yup we can set something up and film it at the same time to share online for those who can't make it.

I can get you some guinea pigs if velcro falling off is a problem. My mates got excess pigs since a rogue male went on the rampage with his females. besides being cute, they are very sticky when you boil em up.

however, I never had any problems just buying sticky backed velcro to stick on my pucks. easy.

Guinea pigs no longer required. The pucks I had are gone and used thru hopshop. That was 2010.

Yeah some get lucky with sticky back, others not so.

I seem to recall a story I heard about Kelly Grom losing a puck during a race after he'd spent alot of coin travelling to over seas.

I know that the puck will stay temporarily if you don't try peeling the velcro off. My method means the velcro is impossible to remove without destroying it.
