I'm sure this has been covered somewhere, just can't find it. Started riding in '76 on a poly super flyer slalom and have broken many boards and bones since. For the last 4 years been rolling around on a stateside 46" pintail from the UK just before my good lady imported me and a smoothstar (the smoothstar only 'cause it's funny) couple of weeks ago I found two "now you're gonna die at speed" stress fractures in the stateside so have retired it...Last time I rode slalom was firing around peds and the odd car I never saw in time so, what the hell this year all out for some GS comps, fun, the works.......the question is for around $400 - $500 price tag what set up could I get away with racing on? I've been out of the gear loop for so long I saw the PVD R3 front truck on the web and it looked like you'd need an engineer to set it up........my apologies if this has been done to death but I gotta know March is rushing towards us and the wife is packing me off to NSW for the meet....Aych
