Grip Tape Gunk Remover

Hey Guys, just wondering if anyone knows a cheap, easy way to remove mud and other stuff from grip tape.

Any suggestions would be great.

Lick it out, or, alternatively, that grip gum

A tooth brush and soapy water makes it come up like new

a rubber eraser works, tat grip gum looks like a giant eraser...
