Google Maps Location Finder
Howdy, I've been really getting into DH lately, and a while ago in a drug haze I found a google maps page upon which someone had comprehensively given information on excellent run routes in S.A, with dangers often pointed out (road is highly corroded halfway down hill, etc). I then managed to completely lose the URL, and was wondering if anyone happens to know what I'm talking about.
Also, even if the one I'm after cannot be found, why don't we all modify a map of our local areas, allowing skaters who may not be as intimately informed to experience otherwise impossible to find places?

Its better to ask guys from local areas then to completely expose runs. It sounds like a good idea its just that we don't want a pile of people taking to a run that may not be capable of doing it yet and killing themselves or drawing unwanted attention from local residents, police, and media to what is still very illegal.
try Local124 or ask in the forums about an earea you might be heading to

dude, you need to join the "Taking The EOTH" group. i didn't realise you were from adelaide. i actually made a google maps finder discussion last night. and robbo's right. best to keep certain runs amongst ourselves (hence why "Taking the EOTH" is a private group).

Beautiful, cheers guys! The Local124 jobbie is the one I was remembering, and would you look at that, Leigh is the main contributor!
I've applied to the EOTH group and would love to come out with you, however I work seven days a week during the nights ; don't suppose it is a daytime run? It would be highly enjoyable to be able to embarass myself with my horrible skating in front of a whole new bunch of people, falling off in front of random members of the public is so very tired.
