Yeh i live in mt eliza loads of hills great for sliding / DH real good surface, depends how far u want to travel

depends on location, there is nothing in the inner western or northern suburbs though so dont bother checking those out, out east is where all the good gnar is, especially around hurstbridge and places like that

I live in Sandringham, great beginner sliding spots in places near the beach, like Sim st or any other streets along beach road, but there are some long boarders round there that can be pretty dog

Hey dude depending on where you're located you can try some of the multi-level car parks scattered numerously around Melbourne. They're mostly really smooth and buttery, a nice slight surface coating of dust/road grit helps to keep slides going for ages and no pushing needed!

I went back to my parent place on the weekend and they resurfaced the road I grew up on so it is super smooth, it's in Franston Sth and it's insane for sliding,and really steep. Old man reckons that he has never seen anyone skate it except in transit and he's retired and walks 3 times everyday. It would be perfect for a slide jam... I know you guys don't like giving away spots but if you are local let's just say this ave goes BANG if you want to know more PM me.

if you want insane hills, go to lorne, biggest hills you've ever seen, and they go on for ages look up lorne on google maps, pick any street coming off the main road that is adjacent to the beach

nathan the stuff in lorne is the kinda stuff that most guys..... infact probobly all guys in this thread would struggle to skate. hurstbridge has some good stuff as well as eltham, both have good learner friendly downhill runs to skate, if people want to get out on a regular basis and skate some fun stuff there are the sunday night sessions which happen in the CBD every sunday

Monash has car-parks and Centre Rd Springvale has a ditch....not far from you

yup i usually skate in monash carparks only. not much of a slope though. wanna do more DH. need better slopes!

gabriel if you want to do some light dh etc hit up the sunday night rides its a good place to learn the basics
