depends on location, there is nothing in the inner western or northern suburbs though so dont bother checking those out, out east is where all the good gnar is, especially around hurstbridge and places like that

They're mostly really smooth and buttery, a nice slight surface coating of dust/road grit helps to keep slides going for ages and no pushing needed!
Permalink Reply by Nato on August 22, 2012 at 14:00 I went back to my parent place on the weekend and they resurfaced the road I grew up on so it is super smooth, it's in Franston Sth and it's insane for sliding, and really steep. Old man reckons that he has never seen anyone skate it except in transit and he's retired and walks 3 times everyday. It would be perfect for a slide jam... I know you guys don't like giving away spots but if you are local let's just say this ave goes BANG if you want to know more PM me.

nathan the stuff in lorne is the kinda stuff that most guys..... infact probobly all guys in this thread would struggle to skate. hurstbridge has some good stuff as well as eltham, both have good learner friendly downhill runs to skate, if people want to get out on a regular basis and skate some fun stuff there are the sunday night sessions which happen in the CBD every sunday

Monash has car-parks and Centre Rd Springvale has a ditch....not far from you
