just got mine, and its rad for both

there are 3 white line boards.

the scud, the swallow tail and the drop through

the first two are top mounts with multiple mounting options the drop through only has one mounting option.

the boards them selves are just on 10 inches wide at their widest

the scud and swallow tails possible wheels bases are 27.5, 28, 28.5 and the swallow has one extra at 29 inch

I can't remember what the drop through's wheels base is I'm sure someone knows

all are good for downhill and freerideing.

this is all coming from a guy that is 6'2" and size 10 feet.

I have a proto scud that I have been using for downhill it has a little more flex and is a little shorter then the final version and I have taken it to about 85km and it was stable and locked in but still responsive and able to carve and drift.

swallows epic for freeride and dh man i think its 36 or 39 and 20 wide
10 wide haha

the swallow is 36.5 inches long.

the scud

the scud is a little shorter and is symmetrical, and the foot platform is a little more constricted as it tappers in at the back, the swallow has more wood at the back both can be ridden switch easily.

if you are going to be free riding it I would stick to a 70mm wheel as you will be able to run your trucks looser for drifting and deeper carving.

I run mine with risers, bear 852s and lime bigzigs and at the shortest wheelbase on a proto scud which is shorter then the final version this gives me a little tail to kick the board up with and do shovits on.

if you want to try out the board pm me and we can organize it.

Yeah does any one know how long it is  I know the wheel base thank for the replies

?

the scud is 35 inches long 10 wide , wheelbase of 25 and 26 inches, its built for freeride and downhill as long as you like short wheelbases...you can send the team at glydeskateboards@gmail.com a message for info or pick up a deck from  http://www.hopkin.com.au/

Thanks

hopkin doesn't currently have any in stock but www.shreddersboardstore.com does.

also if you come to one of the canberra session you can stand on my scud and see how you like it.
