GFH boards
anyone had experiences with them? they look pretty rad.

Got a pug, and hate to say it, given how much the longboards cost, but it is my favorite board. I do a bit of travel for work, and it fits in a suitcase so i can take it anywhere. Its got little trackers trucks, I upgraded the wheels to retro's for a bit better quality, but its smooth, fast and pumps really well.
Best things:
1. it turns any little hill into a big hill.
2. it's a perfect training board for the kids (4 yrs old transitioning from a 3 wheel scooter to a deck, one day she'll inherit it)
3. has a slidy feel when you dig your carve on a hill, sort of like it might be going a bit sideways or have a different track between the trucks. Guess this is good training for when it happens on a bigger board.
4. Goes great in the city. when you get that block press of foot traffic that stops at each intersection you can get to the front, drop the board and have a whole section of clear footpath until you get to the oncoming foot traffic. Then you pick up your board, weave through the crowd and your at the front again for the next walk signal and off you go again.
5. At 110kg it has some flex but holds the weight well
6. there's nothing like walking out the front door of an expensive hotel, that the company is paying for, past all the executives with your pug in hand, knowing that while their stressing and trying to impress, your out on the street living the dream with a smooth roll and the wind in your hair

Mate, love it. Go the mini board, bring back the fun, it's hard to take yourself too seriously when your rolling on a pug. You're not the raddest, your not the hardest of the hard core. You're a dude getting around on a mini. Having fun and taking the opportunity to skate where you can get it, beats the piss out of trying to look cool.
