Looking at setting up an event here in VIC
Im wanting to know what date is preferred
Either;
Oct 17 - 18
Nov 7 -8
Let me know
Its a closed race track
hot mix surface - nice an smooth
70 - 80 speeds on luge
700m long from memory
safe track to ride
Can use for 2 full days
great specator viewing
Towns close by
Great lead up to Newtons!

Is that haunted hills racecourse? I heard they resurfaced it.
Is it gonna be outlaw or legit?
Check the events listings at top of page.
Oct. 4th is Conehead Cup in Blue Mtns near Sydney.
The newtons in late Nov.
Dunno if it's better to be closer one of those or smack bang betwen them. I'm happy to travel down Vic for a legit race closer to CHC because that and newtons are close to where I live plus I'm taking the week off before and after newtons.

Luge, standup, gbikes,slalom everyones welcome brother!
I expect it to be legit as we will have the whole track to ourselves.
Thinking maybe in end of August may work ...may be a little wet or cold possibly but gives us some time to save up for newtons...whatyareckon?

Alot of the sk8boarders might be OS, middle of September might be better. Although I have no doubt for a DH event on any date whoever is in the country will show. Have a look at the event schedule on the site

Are you based in Melbourne or down the Valley?
It would be good to catch up and talk about this, if you can make it to the After MOSSjam slalom session on Sunday 15th March, At Carribean gardens in Scoresby, Dalmore Dr, Scoresby, melways pg 72, E10.
There is a growing collection of longboards, and folks to session with.
Fitz kindly put a post up on charliedontskate.com and there is some interest.
We could talk about arranging a visit (possible short trial session) to the track to check out what speeds are possible, and the usual safety stuff?

Ill be going to europe, so my vote would be october or later. gives some time to get the funds back up again
