Thinking of getting new bushings soon, I'm using Venom DHs at the moment, and just was wondering what the aim/type of riding these bushings were developed for. The DHs are super-stable, are the elims just another DH bushing? ie:what differences in riding is there between the two? And what does the stepped design try to achieve?

Cheers for any responses.

try out both board and road side and see what you like best.
i crank Rob Mcwhinnie Blood Red SHR's barrel roadside and Rob Mcwhinnie Blood Red SHR's eliminators boardside. super sick with munkaes on the Avenger

I didn't dig this thread back up, but coincidently, I just bought some new bushings.

For the last year and a half, I've been rocking yellow venom barrels roadside, and red boardside. I have found this a great allround setup for me (62ish kg) for my style of riding (freeride and medium DH) all I have to do is change the kingpin tightness, no bushing changes. They have become worn out, and I was originally using small, flat washers which dug and pierced into the bushings.

so...

I just bought some red eliminators (which might be a bit hard :/ ) and some 88a green SHR barrels, mainly coz this way I can play around and test out some different combos (besides that the bushings are worn out), so when I try them out, I'll post back.

I'll try out the elims boardside and SHR barrels roadside first I reckon, and see how they are. But I've become so used to a barrel/barrel combo on a 42* Randal plate and love the deepness of the turn (very little dive, just how I like it for higher speed carving).
