Earthwing superglider random crack ?

my friend was cruising around on his new earthwing , i'd never heard of them , we were just cruising , i looked away and looked back at him and he was holding his skateboard, a huge crack right behind the front bolts , he didnt hit anything or fall, just random .  anyone else had that ?

Possibly a fault in the timber. It can happen from time to time. Contact Earthwing or the place of purchase and they should exchange it for you
