Wow i was reading on on coastlongboarding forums there were 12 boards stolen at DB, a gps, full face helmet and someones carbon evo with smokies and bigzigs that would of sucked so bad.
thats the problem we are going to have to deal with more and more as the sport grows.
awesome that the big dude won. congrats to him, but i was hoping it would have been one of the aussies up front.
yeh thats a downer on a rad event,it amazes me those sorts of low lifes r hangin at those events,it surely couldnt of been other members of the longboard community, they would all know one anothers gear ,u be hard up riding it n gettin away with it...
This is Jacko's mum.....
I'm sure Jack will post when he is back on line, but as you all seem to be keen to know how he went I thought i'd let you know. (sorry Jacka hope i'm not embarassing you)
His first words were "I didn't come down in an ambulance!" (DB7). He said the competition was really instense with lots of good riders. He crashed - literally- before the quarters and didn't realise that 2 others had done the same before it was too late.
I'm not sure how Yatsey went, but he was in the same bracket as the Puerto Rico guy.
As always he is doing lots of filming with some "sick stuff".
The party might be over by now, but as I haven't heard from him since Monday - probably not........
