ASRA - Australian Skateboard Racing Association

My 17 yr old has been cruising around on a cutdown deck I made him, I moddeled it loosely on the lLY drop carve shape except with a surfy influenced swallow tail, he's running randall 180's and pink 75mm zig zags and loving it, he's got no interest in bowls or street skating. Im trying to incourage him to do some cones.( that doesnt sound good coming from his father hahahaha)

Anyway, he wants a real deck, he likes the LY drop carve, but I have been encouraging him towards the Rayne pug after seeing someones at Ainslie.

He does'nt want to much flex, he's 85kg and woudl prefer a little tail for emergency kicks.

Your reccomendations and opinions please

that pug sounds good for that hes after, if you wanna include kick tail and small ammount of flex... The pug works really well with randals and zig zagz, it can hold its own on a fast hill and you can lay down some nice carves and it had just enough flex to pump it along the flats...
Otherwise if you wanted something a bit stiffer and a bit more concave the Skaterbuilt Timewarp is a pretty sweet cruiser with a nice kicktail and great concave throughout the board, its 36"
