Yes i am an old man
Its my back foot.
I get pain in two main ways, from pushing and from toeside slides.
Pushing I get in the big toe knuckle attaching to the foot and in the arch of the foot, on top of the foot, in the middle associated with the joint between two bones there.
Toesides, it’s the bending of the three little toes back as you push out the back foot. They hurt for days.
Any ideas on shoes, exercises or treatments?

Seriously, try Panadol Osteo Adam, as a first step. It works by slowly building up in your system, and is excellent for joint associated pain. You'll have to get a script though buddy. Just a thought, as a first step to come to a solution.
go to the physio for sure man.
they'll give you exercises and diagnose the problems
talk to Aych at Hanks Place - they know their stuff and are always helpful
As the pain is in your feet, you might consider a sports podiatrist, who could suggest suggest orthotics or at least a shoe with more support...not that anything like that has happened to me of course ;)
You could take up luge.:)
no.

I was hoping the guy from hanks place might read this???
Looks like i am a mutant i thought someone else may have experienced something similar???
Sakamoto, i managed to get some panadol osteo but it did not need a script so maybe its a milder form?? the chemist did not mention any other version.

Thanks all
I had something similar. I had constant heel pain, or plantar fasciitis. It was really bad. Was recommended stretches and orthopedics. The only other option was to stay off my foot for 3 months and let it heal. Like that was ever going to happen.

Luckily I broke my ankle and was off my foot for 3 months. Heel pain disappeared and has never returned!!!

I can't recommend this method of treatment though. Go see a podiatrist adam or take up rollerblading
Ride switch...
I have a chronic sore left foot for no apparent reason that just kicks in unexpected for 24hr periods where I can barely walk, only happens once in a while but its been doing that for 10years. Been to a few doctors over the years who all say there is nothing wrong with it. I just put it down to one of those old man injuries.

Bruised the right heel on a bedpost about 8 months ago and still feel it now when I push a skateboard. Anything more than 2kms on the push and I gotta rotate a bit of mongo just to take the pressure off. Just like steve's issue if I did nothing with it for 3 months it would be fine but I just can't seem to go the distance.
