Cheap beginner board?

My mate hasn't skated before, but he can snowboard. He wants a board for around $200. What's the best options from skate shops or online?

http://www.silverfishlongboarding.com has a lot of good info, also check out all of the shops on the right hand page, thats where you will find the best new equipment in Australia. if that isnt cheap enough just look for second hand stuff in the marketplace as aforementioned.
