ASRA - Australian Skateboard Racing Association

Have been looking for some good downhill areas in Canberra that don't have streets coming in and out of it.
One of my friends got hit by a car just cos he couldn't see the car coming.
Hence if there us a long street or track that doesn't have streets peeling off it that would be ideal
Cheers

Discovery drive. Alternately look in the Canberra session thread.

There is a pretty good one, kinda long near the War memorial, uhh the street is called Creswell street, it comes off fairbairn ave right across the road from the war memorial. It's heap good, my favourite run that isn't too fast yet a whole lotta fun :D hope you check it out

As yet no super safe road has been found.

Best you will get is new development sites after working hours. (like the new molonglo site)

Some quieter roads such as Discovery Drive as James said, and Apolo rd but still need to be realy carfull with trafic.

Best to hook up with the guys on the CBR thread and if you find a good spot dont post it up, pass it on privatly to those who wont wreck it for you.

Yeah bro we aint going to tell you shit until you skate with us and prove your salt.

The fastest runs in canberra are hidden deep inside Owen Daveys buthole, you have to work to get access.

there are some great hills around bonner and ford..... one of my runs is about 2kms long and its pretty fast too

thanks man, come and shredd with us we are generally pretty safe, as for your friend either the person driving or you friend wasn't looking or your friend needs to learn how to stop.

come shredd with us wednesday nights in civic. at the fountain in front of the canberra centre from 5.30
