ASRA - Australian Skateboard Racing Association

Looking for any runs around Brisbane to ease my mate into Downhill, he wants to start getting to races but needs the basics first, cornering etc

To be honest i have no idea where i learnt, i just bombed some stuff...a lot of stuff

Anyway i dont want to just push him straight into a vertical hill, so looking for runs around the place

I Live in both Paddington and McDowall (near Albany Creek) So any runs inbetween their or in the general area (20-30min bus ride at the most) would be great

cheers

Harry,  there are plenty of streets off the Jinker track at Albany Creek you could hit that aren't too busy with traffic.  Just got to watch out for those soccer mums in their SUV's
Yea i was over that way myself with Connor the other day, he showed me one good beginner run i think ill take my mate to, apart from that i guess we'll just go exploring haha

Exploring is the way to go, you might even find a fast technical hill for yourself.

There are some really good runs in Coorparoo where the rich houses sit on the hills and stuff with smoooooooth road, but only if you want to be really adventurous.

Coronation street paddo/bardon

Paddington!

Are you still on holidays, I can show you around!

Yea mate sure am, I'm on holidays till Thursday next week so that'd be ideal just my mate who's already into a lot of high speed technical freeride with me is on holidays he's back on Saturday so it'd be great if both of us could tag along were gonna start moving into competitive dh soon so any thing you could show us would be great to be honest we could have started racing ages ago, were just typical lazy kids haha But cheers :)

Hey Isaac, send me a message if you are going out with a couple of people and I'll see if I can get some skating in!

Sunday Paddo sesh?

Meet somewhere down at rosalie shops, or maybe up woolworths?

Sounds good, ill confirm and get back to you, Paddington woolworths would be great, very close

Yeah i'd like to know some mellow spots too. Good post!

A slide sesh would be good too.

Hey mate, I live real close to Paddo woolies aswell. I usually skate Milton hills and would be very keen to come for a sesh.
