both are classic thane, which slides amazingly smooth. zigs have a flexible lip shape to promote more grip, and gumballs have a better supported lip that would help to promote an even driftier smoother slide.
but a 70mm wheel usually slides nicer than a 76mm one, but they dont last as long either :) its always a compromise.
either way you cant go wrong.

for slidding you want the classic thane and for grip you want reflex formular....gumballs used to be the shit i remember they were my first real downhill wheel and we all thought it couldnt get any better but its just gone nuts since then..
abec has the best range of wheels of any company and now with the classic thane in the zig shape they have it all...

Classic zigs, the gumball used to be quite good but wheel advancements have left them a bit behind, imo they have a very chattery slide, on the other hand classic zigs are sick, i was skating a set two days ago.

I didn't say they sucked. I just pointed out he had a sponsorship which could/would influence his opinion. If Jacko was asked he would probably suggest inheats or 4prez. And if you were asked where to buy them you would probably say voodoo rather than hopkin or cr8ive. Doesn't mean its not the right answer, but people deserve to know if the advice they are getting is from someone sponsored.

yeah i would say in heats or 4 pres for sure. but i would also say that if i wasnt sponsored, i choose to ride em...
but back to the question, go the zigz man. gumballs are good for your beer-store board, the slide on them is shitty. rad for carving. dunno bout the classic zigz, havent ridden em, dont really care, but crew who ride em rave about em
