No intension using the ramp when using a specific DH board.
Doesn't mean you can only ride DH boards on the day either.
I got 59km/h using gps on the big hill at linden using the exact same gear and setup to punch through the slalom course. Zero adjustments to kingpin.
I'd like to do a true GS course rather than hybrid on a big hill. Depends off course on just how gnarly the R/H'er is.

Just to back what Phil said - it's concrete with expansion joints, but it rides smooth enough and you can slide on it OK. It's a similar surface to the Naremburn bike track. I think we've only got 800 metres of cable, so that's how long it'll be. It has an uphill runout. One gnarly corner that for the skateboarders requires either a hand down or some heavy footbreaking or both.

Jacko it has small joins in it similar to the bike track that runs beside the top of the Lane cove tunnel. We will be timing a 900m section and get speeds around 50 - 60km. It is no Bathurst but it is a way for us to run a downhill event without too much hassle, No cars No cops. http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=ucDDKJ4pxio around the 2:10 mark of this Youtube video you'll get an idea of the track
