The word from SOS is that under-30s can participate, but they won't be counted in the results. Everyone can race, but the glory/trophies/prizes are reserved for the old folks.

Easy..! - I didn't want to bend the rules or break hearts, i just wanted to roll the course. I'm fine with watching you blokes shred.

What is this? you think its a disablement to be young! Is it not enough for you to be 15 years younger than i, and on top of that you want to jump in the pension queue before me. No you are right, you guys have it really tough, your breaking mg my heart. Ill grant you the wish to be 30 but just remember, you are now 3 years closer to death.

What happened to Friday King of Kones? It is on a Sunday now?
I like the dodge work and skate cones idea ... wait a minute, that would mean no one in the hop shop ... yeah yeah maybe Sunday is a good idea.
What is SOS doing on the Friday? Your going to make me vist the CDS site to find out...

Yeah unfortunately those who run this group stand firmly by their rules.
Over 30's only. Ageist bastards!!! Haha!
Everyone is of course welcome to attend and ride on the day. However times aren't normally recorded. You gotta show a bit of respect to those who are riding for times too by not hogging the course for runs. We all know how tedious it can get waiting for other riders runs and cone cleanup esp. if you aren't competing.
I fired up the the first year they included slalom into the SOS weekender and I wasn't eligable to race. Poor Hags got the cut too but thems the breaks.

That's the argument I've made in the past - it's a style, not how old you are. But I didn't win the argument.
