CHEWY ON YA GRIP TAPE!
correction;,just checked google maps and the road is not on there yet,its just a dirt strip, obviously needs updating.
its got the road you gotta turn onto as wattanobbi warnervale rd,..i think albert warner is the new rd thats not yet on the maps,.
not really marek,.turn off the freeway onto sparks rd/toukley exit,.turn right at the first set of lights(lakes grammar school on corner).onto albert warner drv,.few hundred mtres theres another set of lights,go straight thru them and you are at the bottom of the hill
Just looking for the locale on a map. Is it basically a road near where last years head to head was at Wadalba?
Looking forward to this!
Hey Mark. Not doing a BBQ this time round. Just bring your own lunch & drinks or you can chow down at Warnies cafe, take away. They even serve cold brews after 12 noon. Hopefully wrap the skating up by 2:30 & head to Warnies for the prezo etc. See you there.
Hey
Will you guys putting on food , bbq etc or shall we bring our own.
Cheers
Mark
Had a few test runs & sorted a course out. I'm trying to keep the course fast, flowing & fun with plenty of pump in it. Still makable at slower speeds for first timers if they don't want to use the ramps. Cruiser type boards will work but I don't think it will be do-able on a longboard though.
We'll have a few extra boards for people to use if they don't own a slalom board.
So I hope we see a few young shredder willing to give it a go.
Rego on the day will be fine if your unsure you can make it, as it's single lane format means no need for a tree.
Remember you'll be racing against the clock & yourself.
See you all on the road.
The location is just around the corner from Warnervale railway station if your training it up. We'll be holding the prezo at Warnie's Cafe next to the station after the race.
