Event Description
The Australian Skateboard Racing Association (ASRA) organized the best race of the 2009 season with top to bottom video coverage of every racing heat and live timing and scoring so the world could follow along. The Mount Panorama course is not the longest but what it lacks in length, it more than makes up for in intensity. Kevin Reimer conquered the mountain in an incredible 2009 World Championship Downhill Skateboarding finale. Bathurst is definitely going to be one of the “can’t miss” races of 2010.

The dates have been changed. They are now November 26-28. Stay tuned over the next few weeks for more news about Newton's 2010; some big changes behind the scenes from last year.

Guys, what are the dates? In the blurb above it says Newtons is moving to October for 2010 and then lists the dates as the end of November 2010. Please explain (;-)>

This is not the best event to start on, but if you've got a reasonable amount of experience riding on steep hills with hard corners while right alongside other riders, then you might be OK.
Try riding with some experienced guys and they'll give you an idea of you're ready.
