Event Description

After the fun & raddness of our first Gnarpark time trial, which was a spur of the moment idea to see if we could run a timer easily in a multi-story carpark.

NACCOS are running another.

I'll keep the location of the venue off the radar.

Send a friend request & PM for the location if you want to

come.

Details are :-

$5 Entry fee

Helmet & gloves required.

Each rider gets 4 timed runs. (maybe 5 depending on time)

These are 1 rider at a time & the run can be up to 45 secs long. So it will take a while to get through everyone if the numbers are high.

We have a heap of sponsors on board already.

Uan Whosarmy.

Oneliner Clothing.

Decent Hardware.

Heelside Magazine.

Hopkin Racing.

Daddow Skateboards.

Any other rad companies are most welcome to support an evening of gnarness.

I'll try to work out some other placings besides 1,2&3rd for some prody.

Maybe - Fastest 16 & under. Fastest girl.

Most improved time over 4 runs. Or something like that.

If we have the time. We will run some $10 (winner take all) - 3 man races after the timed runs.

$ used from entry fee money.

Names drawn out of a hat for each heat.

Thanks PC for putting on a fun night, ASRA for timing - a tedious but important task, Lisa for the beautiful photos, the girls for getting into it and improving every run.  Was great to see so many newbies ripping!  As well as old-school NACCOS taking the podium.  Look forward to the next one, I think I'll be popping in a few pushes on the bottom levels, three man heats will be awesome

Fun times. But  3 500ml mothers for the drive back home wasn't my best idea ever!

Thanks to all the crew who came from near & far to share a night of fun on skateboards with the NACCOS family.

Also a big thanks to all the parents who hung out in the cold to watch & support their kids skating.

Thanks to all the generous sponsors & ASRA, who did all the hard work with timing the event.

Congrats to the winners & everyone who rode.

Sorry we didn't get time for the 3 man races at the end. Time & large numbers

made it a bit hard. Next time we'll do some sort of race format.

Thanks to my family who skated hard & took rad photos.

From memory, the results were something like:
1. Glenn Mills
2. Paul Shaddock
3. Ryan Nickles
4. Neil Duddy
5. Dave Blackwood

I'll post the complete results tomorrow. Fun night, except for doing a knee slide and then realising I didn't have knee pads on. Thanks PC and sponsors.

Sorry people. Lid is fine, but your choice.

Slalom board would work pumping between ramps.

Cones... no need, but could be done.

I'll message you Nate.

Been building a speed hump for the speed bump.
