Event Description
Streetluge & buttboard racing
4 man races for points
Most points go into finals
Classes include: Open streetluge
Open buttboard
Junior (16 or under)
Riders race at their own risk.
Minimum requirements:
Helmet, elbow & knee pads, Gloves, suitable braking shoes
8am registration and practice begins
10am racing begins
12.30 to 1.00 lunch break
Great opportunity for first timers to race and meet other riders. Longboards can be used in all classes as a classic luge.
If anybody needs to borrow gear please post here so that something can be arranged. There will be limited spare boards available.
Rego is FREE however there will be a collection to raise money for a fellow rider who is going through a tough time so bring along some cash so that you can contribute.
Just like last year we are hoping to have LAUNCH ramps on the racecourse and bonus points will be given to riders that make use of them. So bring a board that you are willing to get airborne.
This race will be held even if it is raining!

There will be a limited number of event T-shirts available at the race for $20. All money be donated to Brad Sterrit.
The shirts will have the Launch logo and the shirts have been donated by Daz the Cowboy.
So make sure you bring your cash and get in first

It seems event prices are going through the roof these days.
This is the way it should be at a location like the Pumpstation.
Free entry.
Ride for stoke.
If you get a prize, its a bonus, not a right.

Just a note, this will be a streetluge and buttboard race.
Longboards can be used if u do not have a luge or buttboard in the lying down position.
Feel free to come along and see what it's all about.
There will be plenty of people who will be more than happy to show you how it is done safetly.

we're working on sponsorship and prizes at the moment. So far Cre8ive Sk8 is in (thanks Ado, you're a legend!) and working on getting a few sets of Arcticboyz slide gloves too. More prizes/sponsors will be announced soon
