As this is the only real comp in OZ, should it be the Australian Championship? It was decided that Mt Donna Buang was the Down Hill Championship and as we arn't keeping a telly of points it would be easier. Australian Banked, Duel and 100 cone Champion, sounds fair!!!

Just a heads up for those coming and racing Stromlo on Saturday, we have another event taking place at Stromlo that day. They will be using the bottom half of the track, much like the dozen or so that shared with us last year but with over 500 people there. The runoff section to the left at the end of the course will be barricaded about 10m wide so we will have to turn left and come back up the hill, it will be plenty of room because we will start the race further up the hill. The 100 cone will need to go right to the top of the crit track hill, but can't go on the entrance road as that needs access for emergency vehicles (for both events). I've met with the other event organiser and he's super keen to have us there as people may stick around longer. There will be food vendors and sponsor areas for the other event, so I will discuss that with Neil and we'll decide whether or not to have our food at Stromlo.
I see it as a really positive thing for slalom and I also see it as a great opportunity to hand out stickers for the sponsors to a huge number of people so anyone keen on skateboarding will have a name in their mind. I think the impact on the event will be minimal, and I know the facilities are built to handle many more people so things will not be crowded.
I'm also aware of a number of notables who can't make it this year so please whip up some hype with your skate mates and let's try to get as many as we can. I'm going to post an event on Facebook too. I look forward to seeing a bunch of you next month!
Please comment, please RSVP to the event here if you're coming.
Thanks Scotty! Looks good, need to save the cash as a number of NACCOIDS will be travelling around the globe to events this year.
Hey Nathan this is close (~10 mins from Stromlo) with showers and a nice area:

put it out there on face book Nathan ! good luck it would be great if you guys can make it !
Hey, CROSS crew! A NACCOS van is most likely pointed in the direction of CBR for the weekend. However...NACCOS are broke, and looking to do a hell of a lot of skate travelling during 2015. The skatesman has priced us out of the market and we are looking for a suitable place to set up a small camp and throw our swags out over the weekend. If anyone can point us in a good direction let me or Duber know. Cheers!
hundred cone record holders !
I think I'll have to get a coach down unless I can scab a ride....
