pumped, thanks again. As Friday 13 March ditch is going ahead, could we do Saturday 14 March in Fawkner Park again?

Fawkner Park in February is Hot!

We rolled up for our 1st run of cones in many months, to find that our usual run is a construction site, so we had to use one of the other paths, that actually turned out to be more fun, and apart from the width was not unlike Mt Stomlo.
We had some new players who are now hooked, and some old gits who used it as a training session for Canberra.

Dan and Merv laid down solid runs from the start, and both showed improvements of 3-4 seconds over the day

The new starters Kelly and Simon, also impressed themselves with learning a new discipline, and Simon impressed us all with being the most improved for the day with 10 second improvement, to finish just quicker than Hambo, who was skating a pool board!

Also worth mentioning is Tom Belvedere, shown here, a grom from Upwey, who put in a credible 1st effort, and will be back for more.


And Finally Thanks to Merv for the "Romancing the Cone" trophies!
