Event Description

NEW DATE selected especially to avoid wet weather, guaranteed!

Semi-regular Sydney slalom session (lets be honest its a race!) heads to the Blue mountains. BMB Mountain Mick is promising a rocking SGS course so it is likely to be perfectly makeable on your downhill board.

The locale is still officially a BMB club secret so if you need to know where it is PM me Mountain Mic, Bugs or someone in the know.

Pumpstation is remote so bring all your own food water etc.

Kicking off around 11am

Prizes? did someone say prizes?

I'm sponsoring one pair of these http://www.theclicstore.com/store/categories/CliC-Sunglasses/CliC-Monarch-Sunglass/ choice of colour, Black or Blue, valued at $189-

Incentive prize, everyone who makes the course and lays down a time (any time, go as slow as you like) will go into the draw to win the sunnies!

I dont think I have ever seen anyone at pumpstation running cones with a fullface but other than limited vision I'm sure you could. It is a closed road, no traffic nice mellow hills, with a fast bottom section. PM someone for location details.

jordan,

no need for a dh setup.  any longboard/slalom board will do the trick.  it might be easier on some boards than others, but it's a wide GS so people should be able to get through on any setup.  plus there'll be boards to borrow and try out.  rock up and you will have a good time for sure.

We can only skate the pump st because the locals think we're OK. Camping there destroys that and attracts all sorts of bad attention - national parks, fireys, etc. Please don't do it - dont even think about it. Find a friendly local and ask to camp in their backyard, or save up for a motel or caravan park.
