Presentations and raffle

This year we are encouraging people to attend the Belco Bowl Jam after the Saturday racing and we'll have dinner over at the Lighthouse after Bowl Jam finishes. We will hold the Slalom presentation at Stromlo after the race, and the raffle will be drawn at the presentation on Sunday after the Ditch, to give those who don't race both races a chance to be in it.

The best place to stay is the Statesman Hotel in Curtin which is located a short ride to each event.

Belco Bowl Jam

The Belco Bowl Jam is on the Saturday afternoon for anyone who wants to attend.

We might be stuck with the ISSA rules to make sure we get international rankings.
Rule 7.2: a DQ = 999.
During head - to - head competition:
1.The faster run (Resultant Time) of each racer is compared to break the tie.
2.The racer with the lowest cone count shall be the winner of the tie - breaker.
3.The racer with the higher placement in the qualifying round shall be declared the winner of the head - to - head round.

So I made manual adjustments to rank the final placings based on the time from the round where you got eliminated. I'd like to have a discussion on Facebook about this so will post there for the main discussion. I'm proposing that we change the spreadsheet to rank this way so that placings are calculated by your final race...

Eliminated in Quarter:
PC 39.073
Neil 39.691
Ross 40.151
Chris 43.23

Eliminated in Round 5:
Dan 41.301
Scotty 42.952
Phil 43.56
Andy 46.346
George 46.387
Evan 48.655
Mark 53.705
Bernie 56.38

Very hotly contested in the top 4 with less than a second separating 1st and 4th....
