its basically just two layers of 4mm 3-ply hoop pine glued with epoxy and with a layer of fiberglass top and bottom. If you do dabble in fiberglass which is piss easy btw, use lighter weight fiberglass (I used 700g/sm tri axial but should have got the 250 g/sm) if you want more info i might do up a thread.
