thane lines

This is the stupidest thing thats happened to me since i started longboarding. There is a hill in my town where i go to slide and theres no traffic only about 2 houses as its a new estate no corners just dead straight about 100 metres. I slide on it nearly every day but for some reason this morning this lady decided to yell at me for "Gaffitying Her road" with my thane lines i argued with her that the next time it rained which is pretty much every week round here they will dissapear then she said that i was creating a physical danger to cars by making and i quote "Youve made the road slick and slippery with that idiotic skatboard now they'll blame me when a car crashes" it was at this poiunt i simply walked away while she threatened to call the police if i didnt apologise. Now knowing this lady she WILL call the police hopefully they'll not even bother with it but can they get me for "Graffiti" by thane lines?

If they caught you in the act and they were in a bad mood, they might possibly make up something to nab you for (though I doubt it) but otherwise I wouldn't worry about it. I'd say she's just looking for something to get crabby about because you're young and you're having fun....

She sounds a little paranoid.

Buy her some flowers and be really nice to her, she lives there by the sound sof it so it would be good to get her on side.

 

maybe a thermos with a cup of tea, depends how much you want to keep skating there.

 

get some wheels that don't leave thane lines, retro free rides????

I think every one in town would make me king if i did that. But then id get arrested for murder so ill just picture killing her every time she tells me to fuck off oh and by the way right now at this second its fuckin raining which means there are no more thane lines!! ill just make new ones tommorrow HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

when cars need to slow down they brake, which sometimes leaves tyre marks, which don't wash off with the rain. just say you were slowing down by sliding as a safety measure or some crap and she can't really do much I wouldn't think.

ignore her and keep skating. smile, wave, say "sorry for ruining your day" in a happy tone of voice and continue skating.

If she continues to hassle you just continue to smile and wave saying "Sorry for ruining your day :)" and keep on skating.

 

Just walk on by and keep on keeping on. Your doing nothing wrong so just smile and act like your doing nothing wrong, and keep on having fun my friend. no one can stop you from having fun

Quite possibly the only thing funnier than a post by beet is seeing someone take one literally....

 

So anyway, if offering flowers, smiling, ignoring, chihuahua-violating or any other suggestion here fails to dissuade the angry lady from shouting at you, you could always try shouting incoherently back. Start yelling angrily about Tim Tams or mermaids or something. Often this confuses the other party so badly they give up incoherently shouting at you.

It's when you said she was angry that she would be blamed for a thane-induced car crash that I started to think she may not be quite all there...
