These are a couple of pics of my helmet after i crashed this morning on the bello hospo hill (70-80kph). I dont really know how it happened my board just decided to flip out from under me on a straight sending me flying onto the road landing head first then rolling over and sliding about 8m with my left arm under my body (see pics, I cant move my pinky 2 fingernails are split open) plus i have a bruise the size of a softball on my ass. I am not new to this hill and have skated it many times but it just goes to show that a stack can come at anytime and if i hadnt had my helmet on i honestly believe id be dead on in hospital with serious brain damage.

Its the first crash ive had on my new Daddow Praxis that ive only had for a week (luckily its not scratched or snapped just a small srcape on the grip)
ive checked it all over and i cant find anything wrong it wasnt a full on impact to that particular spot of the helmet more a angled impact into a slide. really its just some paint thats been scraped off down to the fibre glass. cheers for the concern though
Ditch the helmet, buy a new one. First rule of motorbiking, and I'd say it applies here too. The helmet is DESIGNED to crumble upon impact. It crumples so your head doesn't. Even if you can't see anything, the foam inside will have stuctural failures in it, that will make it useless if you come off on the same spot again.
Your head is worth it, get a new helmet.
