Most hated scene??

My friend Casey wants to get into the longboarding/freeride scene. We know what setup he wants to get (Rayne Hellcat, Randals) and he has the money. But there is only one thing holding him back. My other stupid scooter fag friend Jeremy is the only one stopping Casey from getting a longboard. His main arguments are :

 


1) Longboarders are the most (or one of the most) hated riders in the community

 

 

2) We'd get laughed at if we took our longboards to the skatepark (?)

 



3) You can't do 'Hang Tens' and 'Ollies' on longboards 

 

Casey seems convinced. I need your opinions. Are longboarders really hated compared to BMX's, Scooters, Skaters, Rollerbladers etc?

 

Non-Biased opinions please. Go!

forgetting scooters,i encourage you and your mate casey to get involved and give longboarding a go.

the community is super cool and helpful.

lots of longboarders i know once rode other wheeled devices but once they tried longboarding they realised that it was way more fun and have never looked back.

theres nothing you cant do on a longboard,if you want to do tricks you can do tricks,if you want to go fast and race you can,you can slide cruise and carve and get to the shops looking like a cool cat,chicks dig longboarders also,scooters are what their  annoying little brother rides.

Jacko mate, the only reason i have posted this is to get opinions, other than my own, to show Casey that longboarders arent hated.. and it has clearly worked. He is now a proud owner of a Rayne Demonseed!! Thanks guys!
