My failed first build and should work second!!!

Recently i have been making a board for carving. It is 1m long and way to flexible,so I ditched it and im going to make a smaller board. I would like to make a small kick on it like on the tan tien. Im using 6mm 5ply but i dont know if the wood will bend like that. i will make a rib press to do it in. i also used selleys liquid nails to glue it but when i stand on it the board separates and the top layer sides out-wards. should i just use pva?

Any help will be greatly appreciated!!!

maybe make the middle a bit wider for less flex and more concave gives a less flexy board

in my new design i am making the board alot shorter and the middle a little thicker and im going to use selleys wood pva?!

i tried kwick grip, and pva, the cheap pva is good but the best is titebond 3 but it's expensive

Titebond 3 is amazing. My dad gets it free from his work so i dunno. Any good hardware shops have it.

waterproof PVA works ok and so does polyurethane glue <from bunnings> but it can be a bit messy as it foams up when its drying.

Hey Lucca, it looks way cool but I agree with some of the comments made previously regarding materials adhesives and flex. I've made a couple of shorter carving boards with 5 ply and can give you some tips if you are still going for it. Let me know.

Titebond III - Carba-tec is the place to go - yes, it's a bit more expensive, but well worth it (about 60 clams for 4 litres)
