ASRA - Australian Skateboard Racing Association

so lets say some guy was suppose to buy my board and he was picking it up from my house but he had to fly it back to Melbourne.. so out of my own money i payed for a box and some bubble rap and then after i did, he said he didn't want to buy it anymore. Is he in any kind of trouble? or anything or can he get fined for that? and i think he was using a fake name to buy the board? is he in any trouble can i do anything about that?

nah i dont believe in naming people and do you know that for sure?

If it's an ASRA guy put his name up so we can eternally flame and hate on him untill he gives you the money to cover your expenses.

nah its all good i just wanted to know... so if i called the cops do u reckon they would do anything?
give the regulation talk about their dislike of skateboarding that they are  taught to discuss with every person riding a 4 wheeled object that they come across

Nothin you can do mate. Some people are just dicks, and sometimes outside circumstances mean that decent people have to go back on their word. He probably should have paid for your expenses though. Sometimes you just gotta suck it up and move on.

If he agreed to pay for the shipping costs, technically it would be a breach of contract, but considering you would have only lost about $10 or so it would hardly be worth pursuing. There is nothing the cops can do.

It sucks that you tried to do the right thing and it back fired, but it's not really worth worrying about. I'm sure you'll find a use for that stuff somewhere down the track
but he never said anything about shipping just the fact that he was gonna pick it up

dude, all you can do is name and shame and get over it.
This just cost me $10 in oxygen reading this. Just move on and resell your board to somebody else. Its a learning experience, don't ever do anything until money is in the bank. To name and shame over something as small as you buying packaging would just make you look very petty. Remember you still have possession of everything. It would be different if you sent something to somebody and then they didn't pay, in that case you would be dispossessed of your gear. In your current case your biggest gripe would be that its annoying
keep it in the box and sell it to someone else...
