Okay, for all the Brisbane riders.

Is anyone keen to get together for a cruise around some of the spots?

I moved here a few months ago and want to go have a look around with some of you guys.

Look up in events, Carparks will be on soon, then Freeride at the Gateway 5 at some point!  That should get you introduced to the better part of the Brisbane guys!

Doesn't matter! Everyone is supportive and you will pick up some good tips! Hell, I was going there with my z-flex and learning to shred before being converted to a longboard maniac!

 

They are fun and not too fast, just a continual right, right, right, right, right, or left, left, left, left... watch out for RSI :p

Wear a helmet, gloves and try and bring at least some knee pads.  carpark surfaces don't rip your skin off you like road, but you can knock your bones pretty hard and regret it.

 

As to getting your parents to go, it might be good to mention there will be possibly Lance there (he comes with his son) Arbi (awesome older skater) and possibly some other older guys, so it's not just us teenagers making a scene.
