Ditch slalom in Adelaide
I spent this morning setting up and running a ditch slalom course in the Holden Hill snake. Worked pretty good. About 11 cones 5 to 6 paces apart.
Anyone up for a ditch slalom session tommorrow (Friday) late afternoon?
Sorry for the late notice but I'm only on Adelaide for a couple more days.
I was running it with my hybridish slalom board but it would be fine for any longboard like a dervish or something.

well I guess it was short notice....
Anyhow the local kids were impressed if a bit puzzled buy my cones and boards!
For future reference for Adelaide slalomers (are there any slalomers in Adelaide?) it is a good if short venue for ditch slalom. The trannys are super smooth and there is a nice bowl runout at the bottom. It's even in the shade in the afternoon. But bring a broom it gets a few gum leaves.

Got one shot of the cones in the snake. Its not super deep but this photo makes it look shallower than it is.
Managed to get them higher as the day went on but would need a bit of tape or something to hold them much higher. Only about 12 cones tops, but fun anyway.

actualy, now that i think it over,, i would have as much fun rolling around in the supermarket car park as i would there..
its a good spot if its close and if you can be botherd traveling over ther in a car after hours of crappy work to buy more long boards n shreddin crap..........
i mite put this spot on my "to shed to death one day" list ..........
