Great Northern Walk..

has anyone done this yet? i'm just being curious and trying to find out how much is dirt track and how much isnt. i'm thinking about attempting the whole thing sometime soon and taking my board along with me.

the whole thing is 250km. i imagine where it starts near the opera house to the north shore would be mostly on a skatable path but beyond that from what I've seen its just a bush walking / hiking track..
have a look at http://www.thegreatnorthwalk.com , but if its 230km odd of bush tracks probably not worth taking your board along..

Most of it is bush tracks- my mates have just completed it.

hmm... i'm going to do my research and if there is atleast 50-100kms of pavement i'll be taking a board and camping gear for sure. getting pretty hyped!
