we are talking with car club about doing something about the change in surface as the grass has lifted the bito this shouldnt be much of a problem to sort out smooth the bump down or pour some hot mix or concret there ,it will be sorted befor race - as for the gaurd rail hay bails will cut down a little bit of track space but nessesary and would have stopped your board slippen under as it did . If you can master this corner forest elbow should be a breeze
This was one of my first runs down the track so I was taking it pretty easy, still sussing the track. It's very different to anything else I've done, really weird having banked corners and a wall ride. So much fun though. You can tuck for a lot of it and you get some pretty good speed. Matty, yes the end is scary, I think that's where the most carnage will be. If you don't slow down enough for that last corner, you won't make it coz the track is so narrow. You hit the guard rail, which Dion and myself experienced. There is a section of concrete just before the corner so you can't start sliding til you've passed it which leaves very little room. The race should be epic!
