if everyone just wants to donate sk8 stuff , why not take up a collection on the last day at newtons and send it all over in one go ?

Half of skateistan's annual budget must go toward bearing solvent and grease....

On the topic of sending over softer wheels (I was thinking exactly the same watching that), I know there's a lot of Vault hate here but $30-40 for a set of new 78a wheels from skateboardexpress to donate might make it a bit more appealing than the usual $70+. The soft Vault wheels are pretty durable too.

That's a shame cause I have 3 sets ready. Might be worth a check online to see if we can contact the mono direct. That's if they have p.c access. Gathering by the footage looks pretty trashed web wise. That huge pool they where riding could use a timber ramp at the end as well.

For some reason, a lot of charities do that. Anyone know why?

I can understand it with medical supplies and food, but skateboard gear is a different story.

this is awe inspiring.
blackwood is onto something, if we could find some way to donate wheels to them, soft wheels or anything we got around the house that will work for them it would be awesome, i got a few things in good nick that i have no need for and could donate, if most guys go through their gear box or tub or what ever i am sure most guys could come up with some wheels, trucks, bearings or even a deck or two they could donate
