2 years back people used to hate on and boycott Original because their promo vids promoted skating without helmets. People used to hate on Sector 9 because they didn't promote helmets. I dont know, times change I guess.
far out man so many hypocrites on this site! If just any old folk would post this video up they would get OWNED with comments and just get fully ripped about the helmet issue, but because its an Early video everyone is too much of a pussy to tell them off!
Sure you should wear a lid where ever you skate, no matter what you skate, but hey if thats the image u want for your brand thats your cool. Either way the vid was rad and Flavio kills it like no other. Cant believe he can shred that little thing the way he does! epic...
lol ASRA...
Sweet vid Early, looks like a hell fun little board
would have been a 5 star vid with helmets
yeah thats cool then. it was just the skitching and the bowl bit that tipped my memory off. seeing as one of your guys had a smack on the head in a bowl. i dont know the first thing about bowl skating so i'll leave it to your experienced hands to decide when helmets are a good idea.
If you wana wear a helmet for all styles of skateboarding then go ahead. To the Early Team we pride on pushing the helmet to beginners & any style that pushes the limit such as downhill. A kick round town & beach cruisin' to us isn't necessary, however if we were to push the limits on this board which we clearly haven't (for the style of ride it is) then we would definitely wear a helmet. If you feel as though we have pushed the limit at any time with the Locked in Mini in this Vid, then i would say that would take you to the beginner list wear you would need to wear a helmet to try it.
lol.. I often think that about early vids
im sorta afraid to ask this but, while this looks like a funky board and everyones having fun and all. the helmet issue comes to mind. i remember a helmet awareness video form before from early but dont know how to raise such an issue with someone whos definitely a more experienced skater than me. so i kept it simple and blunt
im not trying to start a fire, i just like helmets
