just learning about style and flow helps with all aspects of skating. weather its doing street tricks, in the bowls, vert or downhill stye and flow are everything. so once you figure out how to surf the hills and get really comfortable with that everything just falls into place and the only thing left is just to go faster and faster with it all.

Hokai, thanks for the tips.
If you look where we come from, you can't see coz we are coming from another st. That street is about 45*, so I am working my way up it. My friend was trying to pump...well...carve really hard down it; too hard and that's why he fell off, but it's coz he overdid it. Also, this is mainly a slide spot for me, not a bombing spot.
So do you mean that freeriding the hill more will make me more comfortable with being on the board at speed?
Cheers.

you should try to play with the hill a bit more. lets face it your not going super fast but thats all good, that takes time. since your still learning on the slow hills dont try and just tuck and go straight, do that later once you get used to the speeds. try to play with the hill, carve and draw lines and slash, and if the hill isnt steep enough then step it up. learn how to pump your boards down hills and get stylish before you go for the straight speed lines. you will learn a lot more about skateboarding before you learn about going really fast.

Yeah...IDK why he didn't bring it, he usually does. He didn't skate much tho, coz he had a biopsy on his knee that day. He still managed to stack and has a hole in his hand now.
