Broke my leg just before Xmas last year - fell 3 storeys onto concrete which was a bitch but all good now apart from 50 cm's of titanium in my leg :s Doenst stop me skating and making crap vids tho ...Ha ! its taking us years to get our shit up to scatch technically , but in saying that the videos that stand out the most for us were shot on shit cameras. and no production value ,

Mate you can film a feature film on a iphone if it fits the creative ideology.

Premium Member Comment by Jacko on December 24, 2009 at 9:46: dudes have been skating the city and northern beaches for a while now, check out the Sydney City Bomb Squad. and we weren't paying out on the quality of the skating it was just the video, the camera work was fairly shaky and it was hard to follow. i understand the whole concept of looking through the eyes of a skater busting through the city coz we do that nearly every week, but this would more relate to skating home after a night on the piss with team green.
but you gotta start somewhere! good to see the effort. so get out and slash with the bomb squad and you will learn so much so quickly

Firstly just wanna say you guys are a massive inspiration - Jacko - love yer work truly awesome !! That backpack boom shit with your mates just blows me away - seriously - best extreme sports footage on the net !! Bugs - thx mate - you've nailed it - unlike me by the sounds ...HA ! .. my vid is exactly that - shot thru the eyes of a skateboarder dodging buses taxis and pedestrians in peak hour.

It's not bombing down Galston Gorge or tearing it up in the Snowies or French Alps - but it's still a massive rush and keeps your adrenalin going when your second guessing the movement of everything around you.

Anyway - note to self - must try harder - to keep up with you young guys - I'm 42 but still get out on my board twice a day pretty much every day - if you guys skate some good streets on the Beaches let me know - would love to join in.
