What I love about Newtons is you see the best longboarders on one of the best hills in the world. ASRA have been fine turning the event to get maximum time on the mountain for the competitors. When you have so many skaters going down the same hill, you can see who is the best. Striker goes to more events than anyone, watching every racer go down every hill and commentating. I still remember from Newtons the first time he saw Jacko run down the mountain. Striker was so excited he started to lose his voice, he was screaming, saying stuff like this is the way this mountain should be skated, it needs to be attacked, no one is skating this mountain like Jacko, that is the most amazing run I have ever seen.

 

Such a fine line between glory and pain. (that line is just one haybale)
