Like the US military in Vietnam, they have to destroy street skating in order to film it.

i think the idea behind it was lets shoot street skateboarding in the most beautiful and visually stunning way we can, if that means building a stage of the city and street to do so then so be it. I think its crazy that its getting to the point where people are going out and building stages and shooting with professional crews for short skate ad's. The ad's themselves look amazing and i highly reccomend you check them out, its fluid and beautiful stuff

The thing I like about street skating is the way it reuses the existing features of the urban environment, so when the skating happens on a purpose-built stage for an ad...well, there's nothing there for me. I really wonder what the people who designed this ad were thinking.
