Acostambo, a new epic run found in Junin Peru, the fog was still rising as we arrived at the crack of dawn, the road in had been amazing and was stoked i would be riding it out in the afternoon, i had found Acostambo via googlemaps and had wanted to ride it even before leaving Australia, a massive drop of over 500m in just the middle section was the most intreasting part of the road, the entirety though roaming for 14+ km.

On the same morning the town suffered a fatality when a hungry donkey killed an unwatched baby while the parents enjoyed the local football match. unaware we setup and i enjoyed the first roll down the length, it was impossible to dodge a huyco (landslide) on the second hairpin so we decided to can the top half for the day and ride the middle section.

thanks to my wife Maga for braving the cold and doing some filming for us and jovito for the wheels.

was such an awsome trip there and back to Lima over the weekend, we found and heard of many more runs from mountain passes to closed mining roads and will make an Epic movie of them all ´´Across the Andes¨´ by the time we leave.

Thanks to HOKING RACING for the sweet setups, great advice and cold beers, ASRA for pushing the locals out on to the world circuit and Sydney City Bomb SQuad for all the Stoke to get out here and toast the GNAR.

GO SKATE PERU its epic around every corner and the Locals are Ripping.

thanks Afextwin and Death in Vegas for the tunes
