hey man just wondering what are some good spots in geelong? ill be in torquay for a week and just want to know some places to shred in geelong and in torquay if you know any man
Hey, that double elimination format is cool - we've used it heaps for head-to-head slalom races. So yeah, if you give me the Opens results I'll add them to the rankings.
Brady, as long as the race was run OK and the format you used was fair and reliable, then yep, we can include it. I'll need the results with full names (no nicknames), and if you had a juniors division I need the dates of birth for the juniors.
Yeah I'm thinking second hand is the way to go also, just knowing what stuff is good, and what is good for me.
I was planning on having a go at making a deck (pretty handy with fibreglass). Turns out I faintly know the CEO/creator of GromBiz, so I'm trying to score some cheap trucks from them.
I live at the bottom of Scenic Rd on the last bend near the golf course.
At this stage I'm just looking to just cruise, the wife told me to grow up (I'm only 26) and is afraid I'm going to hurt myself if I do it competitively. Would be good to catch up with you and talk about gear, try a real board and maybe talk about some ideas for making my own deck.
This weekend if the weather is decent?
Only got my street board at the moment. Was hopeing to get to speakys or somewhere and check out long board stuff. Any recommendations on shops?
If you want to catch up for a cruise on the weekend that would be sweet, I need a bit of intro into longboarding. my street setup should hold it with your vision wideboard for now.
Which side of town are you? Where do you usually skate?
Hey Brady
I'm looking to get into a bit of DH/cruising in the Geelong area. I'm making the transition from street so looking for a bit of advice on gear and setup.
Are there many other downhill cruisers in Geelong area?
Don't suppose I can tag along with you for a light session sometime?
Cheers,
hey man, I saw you were keen for an nemesis, i'm in melbourne too and i have a nemesis that I would be happy to let go aswell, its a factory second with a different graphic (pug graphic, check my pics), in pretty good condition. You could definatly take it for a ride sometime if you want.
hey brady if you wanna check out all the gear i'm getting check out my convo's and you'll see the pics. p.s i've got the bears otangs and the reds for 100 + postage and handling.
