yeah ive been tossing up weather i wanna go to melb for slalom or not, europe is so close and i need to save every penny for it. But either way i will have some sort of skate session on that weekend! let me know what you guys are doing and i'll see if i'll be in syd or not
Just saw your question bout ASRA membership - I'm a bit slow sometimes.
ASRA is an incorporated association with the NSW Department of Fair Trading. We have an official membership, our own rules, and have regular meetings (well, at least yearly), and have to publish our finances etc. This allows us to enter into contracts and buy insurance etc. Becoming a member of ASRA allows you to vote at ASRA meetings and therefore influence what ASRA does.
Being a member of the website (as you already are) is more limited - you can talk on the site, but that's all.
i won't be able to go out that far this weekend. I have work and my parents are forcing me to study for exams in 3 weeks. I can prob just ride around in the city on saturday from 3-5pm but i dunno if theres really any good spots around there.
hey ching, have you made a faceshield for your helmet? i made one last night and i reckon its turned out pretty good. My only complaint is that its not a tinted visor. I used some polycarb from bunnings and attached it with the screws from the previous visor and some velcro. i also heat molded it so that it kinda curved more with the helmet if that makes sense. You should consider making one yourself!
hey ching, i hope you don't mind, i got the exact same helmet as you =.=
wasn't really a fan of the other designs so yeah. the guy also have me some hip padding to put under my clothes for free! Thanks for recommending me to this shop, it saved me alot of money!
hey ching, did they have any more of that type of helmet? and is this motorcycle shop on elizabeth street thats kinda close to MC? How is the visibility and is it overly bulky or anything? Thanks
