I've seen worse cases with hardware rubber than sakamoto's.
This rubber is identicle to roger bros.
Dean (and possibly Ham) are currently using Hop's billion dollar rubber and are raving about it.
Remember to use a great damn quality glue whichever option you choose.
I also do a clamp job similar to Adams and highly recommend not using the shoe/s for 24hours after sticking.

Umm not all too long they last for... maybe a month or two normal riding.
I think they usually end up around 6-9$dollars ea after postage.

shaped a bit of timber to roughly fit in the shoe, its got a bit of spongy stuff between the shoe and the board to help it mould to the shoe as they are old shoes extra bits of dodgy timber to lift it font and back to fit curve of the shoe. obviously the first shot shows one already done. any way i'm off to sand a fiberglass two new decks.
